Ardlie Street Early Learning & Kinder is now recruiting for an experienced Educational Leader to join the team and help implement Educational Programs in line with the EYLF as well as the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
As Educational Leader, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation and review of educational programs in order to create rich educational experiences for the children in our care.
We are a centre with a commitment to growing our relationships within the wider community.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the Educators in the implementation, evaluation and delivery of educational programs, whilst ensuring they are in line with EYLF, NQF and the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the Centre operates successfully.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with all children and their families by promoting and engaging them in the educational program.
- Inspire, mentor and encourage Leading Educators and Educator Assistants, by role modelling correct practice and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in the Childcare industry
- A passion for Early Education and Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationship with children and families
- A solid grasp of Reggio Emilia and the concepts of Play Based Learning
- A current Working With Children Check
- First aid certificate – HLTAID004
