About the Opportunity
You will be responsible for a production line co-ordinating the end-to-end line activities through effective team leadership in order to meet performance targets. This role must ensure that all aspects of Safety, Quality, Line Efficiencies, Customer Service and People Engagement are met, and product produced as per schedule and allocated timeframes.
About you
We are looking for:
- Strict adherence to Company, OH&S and Food Safety policies, procedures and workplace standards
- Proven team leader experience in manufacturing; preferably food and/or FMCG, with demonstrated ability to drive performance to meet company objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coach a team of enthusiastic people
- Confident and capable of engaging in difficult conversations as needed
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise tasks
- Respond quickly to urgent situations through open and effective communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills
- A willingness to learn new skills and desire to potentially step into an Acting Production Supervisor position for short periods when the business requires
- Strong work ethic
- You may be required to work outside of your regular hours to meet business needs, therefore a flexible and willing approach is required.
