Your new company

Our client is a well-respected public sector organisation known as an employer of choice in Ipswich. In line with an extensive growth trajectory they have a contract available for a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join their Corporate Procurement function on an initial 6 month contract.

Your new role

Joining the Corporate Procurement team as a Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of procurement categories and leading the delivery of planning, sourcing, tendering, contract development and management services for that portfolio of procurement categories.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will possess relevant Procurement experience and substantial knowledge and experience in procurement source to contract activities. You will also demonstrate competency in procurement source to contract activities including planning, sourcing, tendering, contract development and management services. Strong interpersonal communication skills including consultation, advocacy, influence and conflict resolution are critical to success in this role.
