Eliott Engineering is a 100% Australian owned and run steel engineering business operating in Kilsyth, Melbourne, that has specialised in light to heavy sheet metal, plate steel and structural engineering for around 100 years.
We are currently looking for experienced Plasma Machine Operator to join our busy team at Kilysth.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming the machinery. This position may also be involved in warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts.
Applicants must have:
- Previous Machine operation experience;
- Previous working experience in the steel/engineering industry;
- Experience in reading workshop drawings;
- Overhead crane experience;
- Current forklift licence;
- Great attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
