About the business and the role
Manco Rail is part of the Manco Engineering Group of companies, with a significant market presence in Australia and New Zealand rail networks.
The group specialises in ground breaking technologies in Road/Rail plant and has been a major supplier to leading contractors for over 20 years.
Due to increased rental opportunities we are now wishing to engage a competent Rail Rental Fleet Hire Manger with technical experience in the rail industry to join our team and manage our fleet throughout Australia
The successful applicant will be based in Melbourne with a primary focus in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia on major rail infrastructure contracts both underway and upcoming.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your role will involve being our lease manager maintaining relationships with existing customers and fostering new business relationships. This will include preparing quotations and presentations, managing the fleet maintenance, compliance and handover processes while also providing support to our our Victoria based Technical Manager.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have technical knowledge and work experience within the rail/infrastructure industry with a good understanding of rail infrastructure and maintenance requirements.
You will have excellent communication skills with a can do attitude and you will enjoy dealing with people, while having passion for building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
Heavy Vehicle license a distinct advantage
Must have right to work in Australia
