This expanding Australian family owned company located in Tullamarine is looking for an all-rounder operator to join their well established business. This freight forwarder has been around over 45 years, with high pride of offering logistics and supply chain solutions to their clients.
 
Our client is looking for an experience all – rounder who will be managing shipments within the Imports and exports from start to finish.
 
Your daily duties and responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to:

• Booking shipments with shipping lines and airlines
• Coordinate shipping documentation – Both Imports/Exports
• Arranging and liase with local transport companies
• Constant tracking/monitoring of shipments and updating customers 
• Process end to end export bookings
• Register shipments in EDI Cargowise
• Chase origin office for missing documents for import clearance
• Issue Bills of Lading and Air Waybills
• Payout charges to shipping lines / EDOs
• Liaising with Overseas Offices 
• Prepare and process final invoicing

To be considered you must possess the following attributes:

• Must have 2-5 years in both or either Air and Ocean experience in Imports/Exports
• Positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
• Strong communication skills
