Teys Australia operates six modern and efficient beef processing facilities strategically located across the Eastern seaboard. The company also operates three feedlots located at Jindalee (NSW), Condamine (QLD) and Charlton (VIC). The geographic location of Teys Australia's operations provides an ideal alignment with the Australian cattle production system and global customers.
We have positions available for the below in Tamworth:
- Skilled Beef Boners: Experience in breaking down of carcass to Ausmeat specification in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Skilled Beef Slaughter Personnel: Livestock or Carcass preparation, pre-boning or Ausmeat trim experience.
- Skilled Knife hands: Experience with assisting Boners and Slaughter Personnel with carcass breakdown in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements and Ausmeat specification.
Suitable Candidates will need to meet the following requirements:
- Experience in a boning room or possess knife skills
- Flexible, reliable and punctual work ethic
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to safely perform the inherent requirements, in a manual and fast-paced work environment
- Proven hard-working attitude and the ability to follow directions
- Comprehension and compliance in following established health and safety practices
- Commitment to the shifts required
- Have access to transport (essential)
- Willing and able to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
