Who are we?

Located in Kingsgrove, St George Foodservice (SGFS) are a food distributor, distributing food and supplies to cafes, restaurants and other food businesses. 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our Distribution team. This role consists of distributing goods in a specific area within Greater Sydney. You will be required to perform multi-drop deliveries using a hand trolley and is physically demanding role. The role is from Monday – Friday commencing at 3am for up to 9 hours per day. There is a requirement to also work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

• ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customer
• assist in loading the truck
• providing a high level of customer service
• putting customer stock away
• collect and verify cash payments
• address any discrepancy between goods invoiced and delivered
• collect customer returns items when required
• working with dry, refrigerated and freezer products
• comply with all HACCP requirements
• attention to detail

Qualifications and Experience

• must hold a valid and clean MR Licence
• experience in a delivery role
• knowledge of Sydney roads
• sound knowledge of manual handling and WHS awareness
• reliable, flexible and open to change
• excellent customer service
• strong communication skills
• organisational and time management skills
• ability to work within a fast paced team environment
• highly motivated and ability to work independently
• forklift licence would be desirable
