Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With a solid network of branches nationally, we service a multitude of customers, including mining, construction, quarry and forestry with quality equipment and after sales support.

The Role

Due to rapid business growth, our Brisbane branch has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Storeperson. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving goods
• Picking and packing goods
• Loading and unloading freight
• Quality control checks and reporting
• Booking of freight

  To be successful, you must have a current Forklift License as well as demonstrated experience in

• Quality Customer Service - Ability to provide supply solutions and source parts as per customer requirements.
• Autonomous productivity - Personally motivated and driven to achieve departmental sales margins and reduce invoicing or picking errors
• Logistical Experience - From a similar parts environment working in an earthmoving or associated industry
• Computer Literacy - maintaining accurate stocktake figures in company mainframe and Microsoft Office Suite
• Timely problem solving - Accurately reporting stock discrepancies and inventory requirements to your manager
