We are currently seeking a yardman for a vacancy based in our Burnie depot. This position is fast paced and require attention to detail with a sense of urgency and logistical thinking.
Suitable applicants will possess the following:
- Forklift licence
- Forklift or heavy machinery operating experience
- Willingness to assist in all yard operations
- Reliable transport
- Availability to work weekends and various shift patterns
- Time management skills
- Quick learning ability and work well under time constraint
Experience preferred but not essential:
- Handling of freight and load restraint
- Handling timber
- Shipping and logistics
