Our client is a global organisation with strong work ethics a leader within scientific industry, we have been given the opportunity to provide them with a Production Supervisor for immediate start. Riverstone Location. 7am to 3pm working hours
Excellent salary on offer great hourly rate to begin with. Temp to Perm for the right person
Overview of Production Supervisor
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production by co-ordinating resources and material to meet the requirements. You will also manage day to day activities of the production operators to ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and production KPIs are met.
Other Key Responsibilities of Production Supervisor;
Co-ordinate the resource requirement and material needed to meet the production schedule, communicate requirements worth relevant employees and Managers.
Be accountable for the production results and engage in discussions with Production manager and Site Leader to improve production delivery and output
Provide leadership to the team to maintain quality of work standards and production output
Conduct daily meetings, review KPIs, quality and output and identify problems and issues to be resolved.
Manage a team of 11 including performance reviews, behavioural issues, motivation to ensure all the production is completed at a timely manner
Promote and implement safe working environment ensuring your team area wearing appropriate PPE
To be considered you will need to have;
Prior experience in manufacturing environment
Formal qualifications in manufacturing, logistics or Supply Chain will be an advantage
Forklift Licence
Lean Manufacturing experience including Visual Management Experience would highly desirable
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Good people management skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
Results driven
Highly Organises with excellent time management skills
Able to meet tight deadlines
