About the Company
Our Client is a well-established company that is located in the Parramatta/Silverwater area and employs around 30 staff members. They are a major supplier of an extensive range of specialist products to the fire protection and building industries.
They stock a vast range of products including metal pipe, pipe fittings and couplings, hydrant assemblies, valves, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, tools and pipe fabrication equipment.
About the Role
You will be working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week and will be working within a very close nit team, working from 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday & Saturdays 6am – 10am.
As a warehouse trainee you will be reuqired to complete a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations - LT131610
As part of this role will be required to obtain a forklift licence which will be completed through your Certificate III
Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Complete receive /despatch documentation
- Organise receive and despatch operations
- Receive and store stock
- Identify products and store to specifications
- Organise warehouse records operations
- Monitor storage facilities
- Control and order stock
- Counter Sales
- Pick & Pack Orders
- Inventory Control
- Must have Clear Communication skills & Computer skills for phone sales
