In this important role, you will lead the manufacturing function, embracing accountability for optimum plant performance and production efficiency. Your charter will require the ongoing development of both people and process, driving lean principles and safety to ensure a sustainable culture of Continuous Improvement. From a broader perspective, your scope will encompass the efficient co-ordination of logistics, inventory levels and production scheduling. Make no mistake, in this unique role, you’ll be able to “set the standards” to ensure manufacturing business processes are met, coaching, developing and managing a loyal and committed local workforce.
Accordingly, we are targeting a tertiary qualified, self-motivated, engaging and pragmatic leader with demonstrated Plant/Manufacturing management experience. The capacity to lead and develop teams, and to manage multiple, competing significances at one time will be second nature, complimenting a collaborative, inclusive approach, with the ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
