Your Impact
Located in our brand-new, fully automated Distribution Centre, we’re seeking two experience and competent individuals to join the QLD logistics team. With a key focus on operational planning and SLA monitoring for a fleet of up to 8 trucks, you’ll need to be resilient and have a thick skin as you manage the relationship with transport providers and direct performance of drivers.
Sound like you? Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing all documents relating to logistics movements
- High level customer service with internal & external stakeholders
- Problem solving daily operations issues and execute actions effectively
- Planning efficient use of resources & equipment to reduce costs
- Daily reporting regarding service levels and transport KPI’s
- Driver safety, compliance and best practice across the operation
Please note we have two shift patterns available, morning shift and afternoon shift.
About You
With positive energy, excellent communication skills and resilience, you’ll take pride in exceeding and delivering to customer expectations. What’s more, you’ll need to be a good problem-solver, able to think on your feet and importantly be eager to jump in and help the team.
What else are we looking for?
- At least 5yrs logistics operations experience
- Strong transport allocation background with intimate knowledge of Southeast QLD
- An ability to analyse data and provide logistics outcome to achieve set targets
- Knowledge of COR and Load restraint principles, SAP experience would be beneficial but not required
- Leadership and people management skills
