Kinexus are currently working with a leading heavy industry client on an exciting new project, based in the Melbourne CBD. We are seeking an experienced procurement engineer to play a vital role in the success of the project. This is a great opportunity for a procurement engineer to further their career within a global company.
Required experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a procurement or acquiring role
- Purchasing of standard mechanical and electronic parts
- Technical communication and coordination with suppliers within Australia
- Efficiently organising supplies to ensure timely delivery
- Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers to obtain the necessary after sales support and quality management
- Any experience dealing with suppliers in China will be a distinct advantage
