Programmed Skilled Workforce are acting on behalf of a highly regarded client for the recruitment of a full-time Supply Officer based at their site in Westbury, Tasmania.
About the role:
The role is based within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Australia, which has experienced continual growth since its establishment and has been recognised by industry experts as a dynamic and forward thinking company in its field.
The role of the Supply Officer is to purchase, receive and distribute site materials for Production, Maintenance, Laboratory’s, Engineering and Administration, ensuring the business has the physical resources it need to operate effectively and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Control of maintenance spares supply, compliance, purchasing, storage and inventory.
- Control of SAP receipt reconciliation and distribution of inward goods.
- Provide support in the control of maintenance purchase order generation for work.
- Provide support in the control of raw material purchasing, supply, compliance, purchasing, storage and inventory
- Maintenance of the safety, environment, cGMP and security compliance of the warehouse operations
About you:
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following qualifications, knowledge and attributes:
- MR Truck licence preferred
- Forklift Truck licence
- Minimum 3 Years in stores environment, preferably in industrial chemical or mechanical store
- Maximo/SAP B1 experience preferred
- Strong emphasis on product quality and customer service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team, both within the department and cross-departmental
- Attention to detail
- Be self-motivated, reliable and have ability to work with limited supervision within a small team environment
- Intermediate word processing / spread sheet / database skills
Due to the nature of some aspects of the work all applicants must be physically fit and be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing. The nature of the industry will also require that all applicants will be security checked and obtain a full national police clearance.
