The Position
This rapidly expanding organisation is in need of an experienced Mechanical Fitter – Leading hand for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity to work with an industry leader in innovative equipment Design and Manufacture.
As Mechanical Fitter – Leading Hand you will:
- have the opportunity to work on innovative, cutting edge projects within the mining, rail, defense, motorsport and construction equipment
- be exposed to the latest technology in equipment, software, systems and machinery
Responsibilities include:
- manage daily operations i.e. the assembly and servicing of mechanical equipment (including diagnostics)
- oversee part coordination
- track and manage project delivery schedule and highlight possible delays and issues
- manage open communicating within the team to ensure deadlines are met
- have the ability to interpret technical design drawings
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ year experience in the manufacturing industry with good exposure to hydraulics and pneumatics
- Australian Mechanical Trade Certificate (Fitting & Turning) or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Promote and ensure safe work practices
- Demonstrate a flexible and can do attitude
- A current Queensland Drivers License
