Warehouse Operator – Leading Hand

CSR Bradford are looking for an experienced warehouse operator with 2-3 years warehousing experience and strong computer and OHS capability.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, your focus in this role will include:
- Ensuring the correct receipting of all goods in and out and that all inventory is in exact locations
- The processing of urgent orders quickly and efficiently as well as standard day-to-day deliveries
- Prompt and accurate loading of customer deliveries/freight to ensure that customers receive their goods within agreed delivery timeframes.
- Adherence and support of all WHS policies and procedures in the workplace
90% of your duties will be involved loading and unloading trucks, ensuring loads are correct and managing/running a small production line.
The other 10% of your time will be involved in providing back up to the Transport Planner, reviewing and writing SOP’s and assisting with improving our focus on safety, chain of responsibility and compliance.
You will demonstrate:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced pick/packing environment
- Strong organisational skills regarding time management, ability to prioritise and see tasks through to completion.
- Strong computer capability
- Involvement in OHS – safety committees, review of documents, change management.
- Sound forklift experience with a current licence
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with strong verbal communication to liaise with customers confidently.
- A positive, can-do attitude
