A highly motivated container transport operator is required in a full-time capacity in providing sound hands on operations in support of the Senior Lead Transport allocators encompassing wharf and empty container park slot booking, along with assisting in two way radio and phone work in supporting our allocators in interactions with drivers and customers along with general administration.
This role is pivotal within a multifunctional environment in linking the daily operational functions and administration tasks in providing for hands on support in the day to day activities of container and general freight delivery process
It is expected you will have a background in container transport either in a operations role and or will consider cartage co coordinators whom have exposure to one stop and container chain application however must have industry exposure and a working understanding of processes, systems, terminology, and documentation along with meeting task deadlines within this fast paced and demanding industry with exposure to :
- Terminals and Empty Parks
- Wharf / Empty Park Slot Booking Slot booking systems 1-Stop and Container Chain
- Two Way radio exposure and application
- In House Transport Operational Systems
- Customer Service
- Data Entry, Run Sheets, Invoicing and Spread Sheet applications
