Your Impact:
As our energetic and driven Finance Manager for Fonterra Australia; this role will primarily act as the lead business partner to the Supply Chain team which will comprise (Storage, Distribution and Farm milk collection). The role will provide robust accounting support, be the driver of the forecast and budgeting process, interpretative analytics and drive a strong cost focus in a dynamic environment.
A hands-on approach, you will be accountable for driving continuous improvement, delivering efficient routine financial analysis that will support commercial initiatives and provide decision making support for third party contractual arrangements by working closely with the appropriate Supply Chain teams.
The key to your success in the position is building strong relationships with operational personnel and gaining a strong understanding of the operating model. You will also be involved in various project work as required, including opportunities to develop within the broader financial & commercial teams.
About You:
Fonterra Australia is looking for a candidate that has solid experience in a similar role. You will need to have a relevant Accounting/Commercial or Financial Management degree and worked within a commercial or Supply Chain/Manufacturing environment. You’re a career focused individual with an excellent work ethic, strong communication and interpersonal skills, stakeholder management skills and demonstrate a keen willingness to learn.
Extra key requirements include:
- Ability in analyse complex information from disparate sources and provide sound, well-reasoned decisions.
- Ability to think strategically at a business unit level and communicate with, a wide range of stakeholders and to understand the issues facing them.
- Strong Excel modelling and written skills.
