Monadelphous Group Limited is a leading engineering group providing construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. Monadelphous is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with projects, facilities and workshops across Australia and New Zealand, China, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea and the United States of America.

Due to our continued growth and diversification into new industries, we require an experienced Track Engineer for track maintenance and track renewal services in the Pilbara. The main objective of the role is to scope new works and provide technical engineering methodologies.

FIFO from Perth or Residential position based in Karratha. Permanent staff role. Base salary + super + site uplift.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping of new maintenance and construction works identifying methodologies, materials, equipment and labour requirements.
• Develop and implement work programs, assisting in the planning, scheduling and execution.
• Create project and maintenance documentation such as work procedures in support of the deliverables.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Supervisors to ensure the work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure quality and compliance to rail regulations (ONRSR) and client specific technical specifications.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose and implement improvements throughout the planning and execution process.
• Other project engineering tasks associated with the commercial and contractual requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Relevant engineering degree in engineering such as civil or mechanical.
• Experience and proven track record in track engineering in a heavy haul environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven commitment to safety with a focus on team work and quality.
• Current C Class driver license.
