About the business

Our facility specialises in powder blending and packaging of health supplements, the successful applicant will be trained in all areas of production including scheduling, product development and planning, blending and packaging.
About the role
You'll take a hands-on approach to all operations of the business and manage a team of people across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment. Encompassing leadership and people management, day-to-day operations will include:
- Owning and implementing procedures to ensure the warehouse and its operations are always ready to support changing business requirements.
- Resourcing and managing a fluctuating workforce to deal with demand
- Implementing continuous service improvement to achieve operational efficiency
- Providing subject matter expertise for all levels of management to help the business realize its growth strategy.
- Operating and maintaining packing line machinery
You will be prepared to juggle multiple projects, utilize your technical problem-solving ability, process vast amounts of information and make swift yet considered decisions. Your proactive, hands-on and inclusive leadership style will set a positive example for the team and inspire momentum towards achieving the business' goals.
Skills and experience
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with proven experience
- High level of attention to detail to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift License (LF) is desirable
- Experience with equipment used on packing lines, powder filling machines, labelling machines, commercial size blenders etc. is desirable
