Our client is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join their QA Team. This role is a great opportunity to join a leading organisation that offers a vibrant, exciting work environment where fresh ideas and innovation are recognised and rewarded.
Reporting through to the Quality Manager, you will focus on Leading and developing internal audits on a regular basis to ensure compliance, while ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Provide ongoing development to the QA department.
- The development and verification of plant hygiene manual and sanitation standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to policies and procedures including OH&S legislation.
- Assess material risks and apply appropriate Quality Assurance measures.
To be successful in this role you will be:
- Tertiary qualified in Food Science, Dairy Technology, applied Science or related disciplines.
- Experience in the implementation of HACCP and BRC or other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Worked in a similar environment.
