Process Leading Hand
Supervise a team of 20+ staff
Leading agribusiness—Goulburn plant
This company, the Australian market leader in its breeding stock supply business, requires a “can do” team leader with a sense of humour and a desire to bring out the best in people.
Your responsibility will be to ensure that stock is produced in the correct quantity, on time and within budget and guidelines. You’ll be instrumental in all phases of processing, strain security, animal welfare, biosecurity, work health and safety, and your people.
You’ll need:
- Proven leadership and people management skills with at least two years experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the Animal Welfare codes
- Good understanding of equipment and environmental management
- Australian residency or a valid work visa.
Previous hatchery or poultry industry experience and a minimum of Cert IV in a relevant field are desirable, as well as a mechanical understanding of processing equipment.
