Are you an experienced Production Operator looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organization?
CHEP repairs and maintains the largest pallet pool in the world. An exciting opportunity currently exist for a production operator to join the pallet maintenance and repair team at our Bathurst Service Centre, reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor. This is a casual role with the potential to move to permanent in the future, Monday – Friday across the day shift (6am – 3.30pm) on a 9 day fortnight and will focus on disassembling, repairing, de-nailing and assembling pallets. Comprehensive training is provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong commitment to safety
- Some experience in a fast paced production environment
- Experience working with pneumatic and electric hand tools
- A willingness to pitch in and work hard
- A strong focus on teamwork
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A strong work ethic
- Basic writing and literacy skills
- Willingness to work overtime as required
