About the opportunity
Due to a recent acquisition which is due to go live before the end of the year, they are looking to hire a switched on and experienced planner for a period of 10-12 months. You will work as part of a small team who are in a position to accelerate the planning function. You will have responsibility for presenting your portfolio at the monthly S&OPs. You will be expected to build strong internal and external relationships and you will need to be able to adapt to change!
Duties
- Actively involved in the S&OP process
- Continuous improvements in back order process
- Track POs
- Inventory tracking from plant to port
- Assist in developing a reliable demand planning process
- Act as interface between sales and marketing , finance, operations, third party providers and global trade
- Define and implement strategy, policy and process to meet customer demand
- Reduce excess and slow moving stock
- Plan and implement new product launches
Skills and Experience
- Solid experience in planning
- Experience in medical, pharma or FMCG industries
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Ability to implement process and make improvements
- Confidence in presenting at S&OP meetings
- Exceptional communications and ability to build relationships
- Ability to use your initiative and be proactive
