Go Air Land Sea Pty Ltd is an International Freight Forwarder currently seeking a Junior Operator to learn all aspects of freight forwarding and forge an exciting and rewarding career path.
Position Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely processing of pre-alert documentation and orders.
- Liaising with clients and overseas agents.
- Coordinating shipments from start to finish.
- Managing client status reports.
- Liaising with shipping lines, airlines and unpack depots, Australian Quarantine, IFIP and Australian Customs.
- Assist with converting leads into prospective business.
- Some out of hours work and travel may be required on occasion.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Highly motivated
- Good time management skills
- A team focused and "can do" attitude
- Fit and able to handle manual cargo
- Reliable, dedicated and a fast learner
- Will suit a junior or school leaver
Essential Criteria
- Current South Australian Driver's Licence
This full time position has tremendous potential for personal development, as it is an opportunity for someone looking at getting into the freight forwarding industry to join an existing young and friendly team. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be able to commence immediately for a long term career with ongoing training in an supportive work environment.
Remuneration package will be negotiable pending experience.
