Process Worker
Based in Mt Waverley this progressive and innovative whole body health and wellness company has been a household name in natural and organic foods, therapeutic and health products for the last 50 years. We are currently looking for Process Workers from a food production environment to join our exciting team for both day and afternoon shifts for an immediate start.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Sorting/Packing food product and stack them onto the pallet
- Production filling and packing jobs as per ‘Flexible Rotation Policy’.
- Handling of food product following strict hygiene guidelines
- Prepare batch and ‘In process’ sheets and complete details as per production requirement
- Daily and weekly, external cleaning of machinery, work stations and surrounding areas.
- Adherence of GMP
- Working in fast paced environment
- Manual handling
To be successful within this position you will possess the following;
- Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Experience within the food industry
- Ability to work in a team environment and to show initiative where required
- Flexibility across day and afternoon shift
- Ability to work on-call shifts
- The need to be fit and able to lift 10-20kg
- An ability to read and follow SOP instructions thoroughly
- TGA requirements from a cleaning / procedural and documentation
- Good numerical and writing skills
- Great team player and contributor
