Our Client is a leading Australian Company based in central Melbourne nearby the trendy cafes and shopping precinct. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced hands on Export Documentation Operator to join their friendly Melbourne team on a 2 month contract basis! This is a great temporary opportunity, an attractive hourly rate is on offer, along with a great company culture and a friendly, supportive team environment.
Daily duties will include:
- Liaising with stakeholders, clients, forwarders, shipping lines & government agencies
- QA Product Clearances
- Arranging & Lodging Documentation
- Booking/Arranging Transport
- Registering & Invoicing Jobs
- Aviation Security
- AQIS Accreditation
- Customer Service & Client Liaison
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proactive
- Flexible
- Able to work both autonomously and effectively within a Team
- Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years within Australian Export perishables sector
- Experienced with Air & Seafreight
- Excellent Customer Service & Client Liaison skills
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- High Attention to Detail & Excellent Time Management Skills
- Experience with BSM highly desirable
- Relevant Export Sector Certifications highly regarded
