About the Company
Our Client, a leading Australian Manufacture in Wetherill Park and is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Storeperson for a temp position for 2 -3 months.
You will need to be available to work between 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday - 38hr week.
Storeperson Role:
- Place orders on approved suppliers for equipment hire, equipment spares, engineering supplies, safety equipment and consumables.
- Goods receipt deliveries into stock, apply stock codes, physically locate into store and update stock records.
- Match packing slips / timesheets with invoices and prepare documentation for approval.
- Conduct rolling stock checks
- Issue stock against maintenance jobs / maintain up to date stock records
- Update equipment item details and maintain bills of materials up to date.
- Maintenance jobs completed safety and in timely and workmanship manner
- Equipment return to service to delivery normal service life and performance
- Maintenance materials available ex stock or delivered as required to enable timely and efficient completion of maintenance activities
- Up to date work instructions and JSA's for maintenance activities
- Supplier invoices processed for approval and payment on time
- Engineering stores stock record accuracy
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience is managing a maintenance materials store and knowledge of maintenance materials, terminology and parts
- Experience in the use of computerized maintenance management systems to receive and issue stock
- Intermediate computer / Microsoft Office and keyboard skills
- Experience in purchasing of equipment, maintenance supplies and services
- Able to read and understand vendor equipment documentation
- Able to conduct internet searches and source competitive pricing
- Good numerical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to compile and update Job Safety Analysis risk analysis
- Experienced Forklift Driver with Warehouse experience
