Vitex Pharmaceuticals is Australia's largest contract manufacturer of solid dose listed medicines. We are seeking suitable candidates to assist with managing our Supply Chain function at our brand new state-of-the-art facility in Eastern Creek.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Supply Chain Officer has overarching management responsibility for the manufacturing coordination, supply chain planning, procurement and distribution functions.
This role will require candidates with extensive experience in warehousing, demand planning, supply chain management, inventory management, batch manufacturing processes, procurement and distribution/logistics optimisation.
Key duties for this role will include:
- Collaborate with the site's planning team, to ensure that the manufacturing plan is aligned with market demands.
- Collaborate with the site's warehouse team and freight forwarders, to ensure that released product are promptly packed and dispatched to the market, in alignment with market requirements.
- Responding to customer correspondence and queries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Raise shipping invoices and packing lists to the logistics centres / markets as required.
Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Fluent in English
- A team player with a strong customer-focus attitude, and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
- A hands-on leader who isn't afraid to roll your sleeves up and help out to get the job done
- Well-developed written and verbal communication
- At least 5 years' experience in supply chain/procurement/operations area
