We are seeking a suitably experienced Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team.
Based in Townsville, this role is tasked with delivering fuel products to service stations, farms, marine vessels and mining customers in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fuel deliveries around Townsville and surrounding areas operating Rigids, Semi's, B Doubles, Doubles and Road Trains as determined from time to time by your Supervisor and your driving ability / licence.
- Completing prestart checks and delivery information using a tablet
- Reporting incidents, near misses and vehicle maintenance issues
- Managing fatigue, working safely with a big focus on compliance to safety standards
- Ensuring a great delivery experience for our customers
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' driving experience driving a heavy vehicle
- MC and DG Licence, and SLP preferable
- Previous experience experience with driving road trains is desirable
- Fuel cartage experience preferred
- Ability to work unsupervised
You must be legally entitled to work in Australia to accept this position and will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates.
