Fixed term (6months), part-time opportunity 

About the role

In this challenging role you will be focussed on coordinating identified elements of the Children, Youth and Families Group Quality Program for our Early Childhood Services. Your responsibilities will be varied and numerous, however some of your key duties will be to:

  • Implement, support and maintain the quality and compliance systems to ensure policies, processes and supporting documentation accurately reflect current legislative and organisational requirements;
  • Coordinate self-audits within services; send out checklists; evaluate and collate data and generate reports;
  • Organise 'Continuous Improvement Group' meetings to discuss improvement ideas that are funnelled in; action items from a document perspective;
  • Assist services to be Assessment and Ratings ready.   

About you

As a highly deadline focussed individual, you are capable of delivering results with ease. An adept problem solver, you think quickly on your feet and make apt decisions.  

With excellent communication skills, you are capable of liaising comfortably with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You have comprehensive knowledge of legislative and service requirements (relating Early Childhood) and effortlessly promote a culture of compliance.

To be suitable for this position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:

  • Tertiary qualifications in quality and/or a relevant discipline; or equivalent experience;
  • Demonstrated experience working in the area of quality and compliance
  • Proven knowledge interpreting complex legislation and government guidelines and communicating the information to stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with coordinating and facilitating procedure development, self-audit processes and continuous improvement.
