Warehouse Team Lead

About the company:
Our Client is an Australian owned company established over 13 years ago that has rapidly grown to be a highly successful import/wholesaler of furniture and homewares supplying to all states within Australia as well as NZ and the US.  They employ over 50 staff and have a great working culture, with many long term staff and a stable workforce.

Role:
Working in a fast paced warehouse environment, you will lead a team of 3-4 staff to ensure the constant smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.  You will have previous experience in a busy fast paced and physical warehouse role with some of the duties of the role as follows:

• Loading, unloading and accurate put away of goods
• Monitor team performance
• Motivate and engage with staff to achieve targets and deadlines
• Conduct cycle counts/stocktakes
• Ensure stock accuracy
• Pick/pack stock ready for shipment interstate and OS

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in a fast paced, physical work environment
• Current Forklift licence with reach truck experience preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills gained in previous Supervisory/Team Leader roles
• Can do attitude and strong work ethic
