Leading engineering manufacturing company established for 30 years and producing high quality sheetmetal and machined components is seeking an enthusiastic Factory Hand/Assembler to join their team. Previous experience in sheet metal component manufacturing is an advantage.
The applicant needs to be:
- reliable
- punctual
- self motivated
- organised
- able to work with minimum supervision
- able to multitask
- good communication skills
- committed to safe working practices (OH&S) and quality systems
- willing to learn new skills
- have a can do attitude
Previous experience in sheetmetal fabrication/production/assembly would be an advantage.
The applicant will be required to:
- operate a range of power and hand tools
- be physically fit as there will be some lifting involved
- assemble metal components
- do general workshop tasks, labouring
- work as a team member
