Multicoat is an eminent provider of powder coating and spray painting services to a wide variety of engineering, signage, scientific, design and manufacturing businesses through out Melbourne. We offer a painting service for those items that cannot be powder coated
Whilst we have a very good team of production staff, we need a person we can rely on to open up the factory and make decisions when road blocks are found in production. This is not a pigeon hole job, it will expand. Because this is a new role, and we don’t know where it will head, we require someone who is very flexible with their availability. This role could be thought of as a PA to the GM and owner of the business.
Things we want you to do:
- MYOB data entry
- Invoicing jobs.
- Handling payments/banking
- Purchasing
- Writing job cards
- Making production management decisions
- Inducting new staff
- Working in the factory when required.
- Open up the factory when required (5 am to 7 am) and close up too when needed
- Organise goods delivery.
- Staff training
- Supervising factory admin tasks
- Customer service
Skills
- Clear thinking. Analytical. Systematic.
- Logical decision making.
- Prioritising and balancing multiple concurrent tasks
- PC Word, Excel and Access.
- Excellent verbal and presentation communication
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and science
- Train people to think.
Experience
- Office management or admin in a manufacturing business
Qualifications
- Drivers licence (manual?)
- Fork lift
- First Aid
- White Card
