FlameStop Australia is the largest independent fire equipment wholesaler in the country and we are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, hard working and hands on Warehouse Manager to lead the team at our busy premises in Rowville.
Duties:
- Full management of current warehouse dispatch team and all aspects of the warehouse operations.
- Face to face customer service and order processing at the Warehouse Service Counter.
- Oversee pick, pack and dispatch of customer orders to ensure deadlines are met and orders all go out accurately.
- Booking in of freight via online portals and over the phone.
- Receiving in of stock from local suppliers or branch transfers including putting away fast and correctly.
- Loading and unloading of freight trucks and shipping containers.
- Production related duties to assemble stock or for custom orders.
- Stock control and stock take management.
- Scheduling of Melbourne Metro deliveries and pickups to provide best service and most cost effective.
- Manual handling, forklift driving and some lifting involved.
- General warehouse maintenance and all other duties as required to provide a No.1 warehouse environment for customers and staff.
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will be an integral part of our growing team and be required to lead by example and take control of the warehouse operations. This will require a strong work ethic and an ability to think on your feet.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to succeed in this fast paced customer focused environment.

Current VIC forklift license and full VIC driver's license ESSENTIAL. Strong experience in warehouse operations are a must for you to succeed in this role.
