About the business and the role
Calco requires a suitably licenced and experienced driver to complete onsite deliveries and transfers
The fleet consists of well maintained late model trucks
A HC driving licence is required as a minimum and CV crane licence will be required
Job tasks and responsibilities
Deliver trusses and wallframes to sites ensuring safe and clean site entry and exits
Communicate with customers and necessary to advise of ETA's
Perform on site tasks with efficiency
Ensure a good all round customer experience by being agreeable
Skills and experience
Suitable candidates will have
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably in building products but alike industries considered . On site delivery experience preferred
- An understanding of safety systems
- Some mechanical knowledge, able to report issues with trucks and cranes
- Ability and care to look after the vehicle, incl washing, prestarts, site entry and on road
- Good customer service skills to be able to deal with site conditions
- Standard paperwork completion
