This position is part of the ITD Commercial and Resources team and partners with IT Directorate managers and staff to deliver end to end procurement activities to effectively meet the Department's strategic IT objectives and procurement indicators. The activities cover Software, Hardware and Services such as Cloud and As-A-Service offerings under a Governance Framework.
 
Required Proven Skills:
- 3-5 years procurement experience preferably in the government procurement area with a focus on end to end sourcing activities
- Ability to gather and write requirements and tender documents including managing evaluation of tenders.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and delivering high levels of customer service
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using MS Office applications
- Experience in maintaining and updating records to enable reporting for audit purposes
- An interest in computing and technology

This is a hands on role, supporting the Manager, IT Procurement and the IT Procurement team. The requirement is for an initial 6 months with a possibility of extension depending on workload.
