The Company
Our client are a well established supplier of high end commercial furniture solutions. They have offices across Australia and supply a wide range of products into various commercial building fit out projects across the country. They are widely regarded as the industry best and have a great range of products and service the top end of the fit out market.
The Role
They are seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their team based at Head Office in Alexandria. You will be joining a stable, friendly team who coordinate the import and delivery of high end furniture from Europe, Asia and America. You will be involved with customs and freight forwarding and will have plenty of interaction with the external sales teams, suppliers and clients alike.
Qualifications & Experience Required
We are seeking candidates with the following skills;
- 2 years + experience in a similar shipping / import role.
- Strong organisation and administration skills
- Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding legislation.
- Superb communication and team working capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and towards deadlines.
