Our client, one of the leading providers for the fresh poultry industry in Australia, is seeking process workers to deal with fresh pet food, located in Laverton.
To be considered for this role you must be reliable and enthusiastic for early morning starts.
Duties will include;
- Manual handling of frozen Pet Food products
- Observation of machinery, general day to day use
- Manual handling of whole birds and pieces
A basic knowledge of the food manufacturing environment with HACCP or food handling certificates would be an advantage.
Ideally you will
- Previous abattoir experience would be advantageous
- Be physically fit
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Happy to work on your own
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and movements
- Able to lift up to 25kg
- Due to the repetitive nature of this role and the height of the overhead conveyor, it is an OHS requirement that Chicken Hangers are between 5.5ft (167.64cm) and 5.11ft (180cm).
Hours are in the vicinity of 5am to 3pm Monday to Friday. This role could be ongoing for the right person, which includes day and Afternoon shift.
