Introduction to role: 
  
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Third Party Logistics (3PL) specialist or stock controller to join our organisation.  Reporting to the National Manager - Vehicle Logistics, this role is responsible for providing end to end supply chain coordination and sales support for Direct Fleet Customers and other nominated key accounts.
  
Working with the Supply Chain Management Organisation with a great focus on Fleet, this role will work with multiple parts of the organisation providing amazing insight into Nissan Motor Company Australia. If successful you will be the key to maintaining outstanding relationships with our direct fleet customers and our third party logistics provider.
  
As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities would be to:
  • Manage the supply chain requirements for Direct Fleet Customers and nominated key accounts 
  • Forecast, order and allocate vehicles to support major clients
  • Manage the regional and head office fleet pool stock
  • Process customer orders that require accessories / options either at compound or through a third party
  • Manage external suppliers including Prixcar and our Dealer Partners supporting the delivery of direct customers and nominated key accounts in a timely manner
  • Produce and distribute invoices for Direct Customers and nominated key accounts and process payment of invoices as required
  
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
  • Sound experience in the automotive industry in either vehicle logistics, supply chain, 3PL or stock controlling
  • Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills. Be self-motivated with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • A high level of process orientation and exposure to vehicle compound processing, and logistics management.
  • Proficient in Excel
