Ostruss is the truss division of O’Sheas Timber & Trusses in Seaford. and has been established for 17 years. We produce roof trusses, floor trusses and wall frames for builders around the Melbourne area. We are part of a group with a well-established timber merchandising business to enable us to provide a full range of products to builders and the professional tradesperson. We pride ourselves on our ability to understand the needs of our customers and give them the service they require. Ostruss is equipped with computerised saws, and we require an operator who can focus on getting the best out of them.
Candidate
You will have hands-on experience in timber truss fabrication.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a linear saw to cut timber for truss assembly
- Ensuring consistent cut-timber supply for scheduled truss assembly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy workplace
Your key attributes will be:
- Hands-on experience with truss manufacture
- Attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a good work pace
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Experience with computerised manufacturing equipment is an advantage
- Forklift licence is an advantage
