About the Role
Embedded within Broadspectrum, Skout solutions is a temporary labour provider for the organization as a Joint Venture with Randstad. Broadspectrum are currently looking for a production clerk/storesperson to start ASAP to join the maintenance team on an assignment at the Defense Base Wallangarra assisting mechanical tradesman on a full-time basis. The Production Clerk/storesperson is required to undertake administrative and non-
technical support to Tradespersons whilst also supporting the defense based stores/warehousing team.
Undertaking administrative, and non-technical support to tradespersons
What you will be doing
- Assisting with the ordering and hastening of repair parts
- Performing Work Order management and data entry tasks within the Information System
- Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies
- Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
- Assists with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Assists with the administration of the Supply Customer Account/s
- unload goods and check them against order forms
- catalogue or label items with storage details
- complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
- package and send out completed orders to customers
- move heavy packages using forklift machinery
What is required
- Strong Administration and data-entry experience.
- A key eye for detail and with a commitment to OH&S practices
- forklift ticket or willingness to gain a forklift ticket is essential
- Current drivers licence
- MILIS experience is prefferable but not essential
- Rights to work in Australia and ability to pass a defense clearance
