About our client:
We are representing a number of Departments within the NSW Government space that are offering roles within their respective ICT Procurement divisions, with this particular role sitting within a convenient location of CBD, decent money, and a heavy focus on sustainable government programs.
About the role
You will be someone who is adept at both thinking strategically about difficult business problems and responsible for facilitating division-led sourcing of equipment, goods and services and the end to end management of all ICT procurement needs.
About the ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Procurement or equivalent role
- Lead ICT procurement planning within the ICT Delivery Plan, relating to overall procurement numbers, types, amounts, and timing
- Author and maintain an ICT Procurement Strategy template (template endorsed by CPO), which will be used by ICT projects instead of the Corporate Procurement - Procurement Strategy template
- Drive ICT projects within the ICT Delivery Plan to ensure ICT Procurement Strategies are completed as required (for any project with ICT procurement above $150k in total)
