We are looking for a Freight Clerk to join our team in a permanent full-time role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Registration and processing of Import shipments
- Shipment tracking
- Liaising with Customs, Quarantine, CTO and airlines.
- Coordination of customer delivery requirements
- Processing arrival check ins, outturn report and damage inspections
- Processing in accordance with Australian Border Force requirements.
- Customer queries
- Data Entry, reporting and delay updates
- General administration duties
- Any other adhoc duties as requested by the team leader
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Maintain a high level attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to new processes and applications
- Sound Knowledge of Office
- Team player
- Clear written and oral skills
- Self motivated and able to work to demanding deadlines
- Freight forwarding experience is an advantage
