An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Beef/Lamb Knife Hands currently exists to join our Beef team at our Brooklyn Plant. Located just 15 minutes west of the Melbourne CBD, our Brooklyn Plant is a 5 day, multi-species operation with the capacity to process up to 1,400 head of cattle and 8,200 head of small stock per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Boning, Slicing and Knife Hand duties
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Good communication skills on all levels is essential.
- Attention to detail
- Adherence and commitment to perform scheduled working hours.
- General Laboring and Knife Hand Duties including attention to detail.
- Comply with the Safety and Quality assurance procedures and requirements
CRITERIA:
- Previous experience boning, slicing & Knife Hand work is essential
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transport.
- Ability to work as part of the team and individually
- Ability to follow JBS Australia Policies and Procedures
- Be physically fit and pass a full employment medical & induction
