Kelly Services is currently seeking for experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Maintenance crew in a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company based in Parramatta region.
Our client has over 50 years contract manufacturing experienced in the Pharmaceutical industry.
You will be responsible for leading a team of hard-working, team players who are passionate about improving efficiencies who ensure the highest quality product is delivered to our customers.
Your duties are but not limited to:
- Lead maintenance team to ensure the effective implementation of the maintenance strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity by reducing reactive maintenance and improving unplanned downtime of equipment.
- Ensure the execution of safety and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities and manage corrective actions in a timely manner
- Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines and allocating resources appropriately
- Implementation of reliability improvement strategies and practices through the analysis of key performance indicators
- Manage team to meet expected performance using coaching, delegation and recognition
- Define team targets and monitor performance
- Manage safety and quality compliance, while upholding company minimum standard procedures
Skills required
- Experience in successfully leading a cross functional and multi-disciplinary team including contractor management
- Background of maintaining site services in Silos, production machineries, compressed air, power, gas and trade waste treatment
- Experience operating in a culture of 5S, TPM, LEAN/Six Sigma and CMMS
- Proven experience in implementing cultural change through leadership, engagement and performance management
- Ability to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback
Qualifications/Licences
- Trade / Tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic
