Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be required to carry out the installation, removal and maintenance repair of underground mine services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving/installing secondary fans;
• Extend water, air and pump services to areas where needed;
• Move and install pumps to areas where needed;
• Maintain and repair services and equipment such as vent bags, poly pipe and valves;
• Hand installation and grouting of cable bolts
• Installation of underground infrastructure
• Construction of ventilation walls
• Installation of remote operated equipment infrastructure
• Assist other U/G departments as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Driver Licence
• 2+ years' experience in underground mining
• A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification.
• Demonstrated track record of working safely
• A current, clear Police Clearance (or able to obtain)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
• Please note that while this position is FIFO from Perth only
