An ASX listed mining company experiencing rapid growth with a highly respected leadership team currently seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for their flagship hardrock operation in North Queensland.
Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking geotechnical investigations, mapping, monitoring, geotechnical input for underground development & planning schedules and more.
This is a permanent role as a key technical leader at a fast expanding hardrock operation with an outstanding array of growth projects. This opportunity can be offered on a residential basis in a well serviced township close to the North Queensland coast with great schooling, sporting, educational and health facilities. If residential isn't your thing, this role is also offered on a DIDO Townsville basis; alternatives may be considered for the right candidate. An attractive remuneration package including incentives and relocation assistance will be provided.
Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified geotechnical engineer with a solid background in underground hardrock geotechnical engineering appointments (e.g. 7+ years experience) with demonstrated proficiency in mining packages and geotechnical programs.
